I’m hoping Bilal is still opening for Erykah Badu when I see her sometime this summer. I’d prefer it the other way around considering I’ve never been to a Bilal show but if the clip below is any indication of what I can expect, I’ll take it however I get it. The dude is absolutely amazing. A gift to us all.

Didn’t Cha Know – 8 till
Each day brings us closer to New AmErykah Pt. 2. I’ll post something Badu-ish everyday until 3.30.10 at which point I will be too busy banging the album to write anything coherent. First Up, Monsta who got the official @fatbellybella co-sign last year. I can’t help but imagine how Jay Electronica would destroy this track. If I had the beat or any freestyle ability whatsoever I’d be tempted to go in myself. Fortunately for you I have neither. Enjoy.
